Sakata Seed America hires retail category manager

Sakata Seed America has hired Mike Tucker as retail category manager, a position that became effective May 8. 
 
As retail category manager, Tucker is responsible for connecting new Sakata product development and trends to retail partners, according to a news release.
 
“I am thrilled to be here and cannot wait to help the team deliver our goals and drive market growth,” Tucker said in the release.
Tucker has 15 years of perishable experience including stops at CH Robinson in 2002 and in produce at Target in 2007. 
 
“Tucker brings a very broad background to Sakata with strengths in merchandising, account management, logistics, and product development.  His experience will help strengthen the Sakata team,” according to the release.
