The application period has opened for United Fresh Produce Industry Leadership Program’s 26 class.

“Encourage the next generation of industry leaders to apply to take part in Class 26 and become the first fellows of the next quarter-century,” Tom Stenzel, association president and CEO, said in a news release.

The program has four goals: leadership development, business relationships, government and public affairs, and media and public communications.

During the year-long program, members will participate in four trips focusing on face-to-face meetings, hands-on training with industry experts and educators, and interactions with leaders in Washington, D.C. Class 26 members will be named at the United Fresh 2020 Convention & Expo, June 16-19 in San Diego.

Applications, available at www.unitedfresh.org, are due March 31. For more details, visit the website or contact Amanda Griffin at 202-303-3412.
