With its premium dips, including its signature guacamoles and salsas, avocado-forward cream cheese dips and new Original Bean Dip and Spicy Bean Dip, Yo Quiero seeks to be a “dip destination” at retail this Cinco de Mayo.

As the Cinco de Mayo holiday falls on a Friday this year, Yo Quiero is getting revelers ready to celebrate all weekend long — and all year long — as part of its Cinco de Mayo Sweepstakes, which offers one lucky winner a year of dips, according to a news release.

To enter online and in-store, shoppers can scan the in-store QR code on the shelf tag. This will take the entrant to the contest landing page. No purchase is necessary. Contest availability varies by region based on retail footprint and distribution. Entries will be accepted through May 9.

“We know that the variety of dips we have, in addition to our signature guacamole, means that there is something for everyone, making it easier than ever to celebrate Cinco de Mayo with friends, family or both,” Tara Murray, vice president of marketing for the family-owned Rhome, Texas-based Yo Quiero, said in the release. “With a consciousness of family and quality ingredients at the forefront, we search out the top-quality ingredients for each and every line of dips we offer, so there is flavor galore, fewer additives and the convenience of a variety of sizes, suitable for any celebration.”

Yo Quiero’s Cinco de Mayo dip destination lineup currently includes:

  • Guacamole made from hass avocados.
  • Queso featuring authentic Mexican flavors.
  • Salsa dips made with top-quality tomatoes, veggies and spices.
  • Avocado cream cheese dips featuring hass avocado as the No. 1 ingredient.
  • Premium refrigerated bean dips packed with protein.
