Lēf Farms promotes Mariana Robles to production manager

Lēf Farms, Loudon, N.H., has promoted Mariana Robles to production manager.

Lēf Farms, Loudon, N.H., has promoted Mariana Robles to production manager.

Robles joined the company in early 2018 as a production assistant, and moved on to cooler supervisor and then food safety officer at the hydroponic lettuce grower, according to a news release.

Before that, Robles we a production assistant at Bartlett Farm, Salisbury, Mass. She earned a degree from the University of Los Llanos, Colombia, specializing in agronomy.

As production manager, a new position at the company, Robles will be responsible for “driving efficiencies, improving procedures and protocols and increasing teamwork,” according to the release.

“With expansion in our near future, putting Mariana in role of production manager allows the farm to continue its maturation process prior to pulling that trigger,” Henry Huntington, founder, said in the release.

Lēf Farms is a one-acre hydroponic greenhouse that produces about 1.5 million pounds of baby greens a year, according to the release.
