GOPEX Showcase: Domex Superfresh Growers organic packaging

Brena Mengarelli, content manager for Yakima, Wash.-based Domex Superfresh Growers, and Catherine Gipe-Stewart, communications manager, were on hand Aug. 6 to talk to attendees of The Packer’s Global Organic Produce Expo Golf Tournament.

One new project Domex Superfresh Growers has been focusing on recently is the “Superfresh Organics brand, which will be a big focus for us this coming harvest and for 2022,” Mengarelli says. “The new stately purple packaging creates eye-catching produce displays that signal to consumers the products are organic from across the store.”

The company’s booth was located on TPC Sawgrass’s iconic 17th hole, featuring a floating putting green. The hole also played host to the golf tournament’s closest to the pin competition, sponsored by Golden Starr Citrus.
