U.S. organic blueberry imports soar higher

U.S. imports of organic blueberries have rocketed from $2.9 million in 2011 to $117.4 million in 2018.

U.S. imports of organic blueberries have rocketed from $2.9 million in 2011 to $117.4 million in 2018.

Likewise, U.S. Department of Agriculture statistics show that the volume of organic blueberry imports grew from 605 metric tons in 2011 to 16,031 metric tons in 2018.

The USDA said Chile, Canada, Mexico, and Peru are the leading global suppliers of organic blueberries to the U.S.
