USDA board hosts panel on sanitizer use for organic operations

The U.S. Department of Agriculture is concluding the National Organic Standards Board fall 2020 virtual meeting with a panel discussion on how sanitizers are reviewed for potential use in organic operations.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture is concluding the National Organic Standards Board fall 2020 virtual meeting with a panel discussion on how sanitizers are reviewed for potential use in organic operations.

The seminar is from 3-5:30 p.m. Eastern, Nov. 12. Registration is online.

The NOSB meets twice a year. The fall meeting was changed to a virtual event because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The NOSB listened to public comments on proposals via the web on Oct. 20 and Oct. 22, and the public meeting was Oct. 28-30.
