Pear pizza promotion offers chance to win pizza oven

USA Pears is offering pear consumers a chance to win a outdoor pizza oven with the group’s #pearpizza takeover contest during National Pizza Month in October.

USA Pears is offering pear consumers a chance to win a outdoor pizza oven with the group’s #pearpizza takeover contest during National Pizza Month in October.

USA Pears, the promotion arm of Pear Bureau Northwest, said consumers will have a chance to win a Bertelllo Outdoor Pizza Oven with three steps:

  • Follow @USAPears on Instagram;
  • Take a picture of the pear pizza;and
  • Share a photo on Instagram with the #PearPizza hashtag and tag @USAPears.

Consumers have until Oct. 31 to enter the contest. USA Pears will select one winner in the U.S. and one winner in Canada, according to the group.

USA Pears also is featuring numerous #pearpizza recipes on its website. Some of those recipes include:

  • Gluten-Free and Vegan Cauliflower Crust Pizza with Pears;
  • Pear Pizza with Brie Cheese and Rosemary;
  • Prosciutto Pear Pizza with Spicy Cider Onions;
  • Pancetta Pear Pizza with Honeycomb and Thyme;
  • Vegan Butternut Squash, Pear, and Chili Oil Pizza;
  • Vegan Spinach and Kale Pear Pizza;
  • Pear Pizza with Roasted Butternut Squash, Bacon, and Arugula;
  • Pear and Gorgonzola Pizza;
  • Grilled Pizza with Pear Prosciutto Cheese and Caramelized Onions; and
  • Savory Pear Pizza.
