Automated Packaging Systems promotes Jay Patras

Jay Patras has been promoted to vice president of sales-North America, at Automated Packaging Systems, Streetsboro, Ohio.

Jay Patras has been promoted to vice president of sales-North America at Automated Packaging Systems, Streetsboro, Ohio.

His career at the company started in 2007 as an area sales manager, moving to district sales manager and Northeast Regional business director. Most recently, he was national field sales director for Automated Packaging Systems, according to a news release.

In his new role, Patras will manage day-to-day operations of the North American sales channel for the company’s Autobag, SidePouch and AirPouch machines. He is also a member of the company’s executive leadership team. He succeeds Brad Worman, who retired after 40 years at the company.
