Bland Farms promotes Luke McBee to director of operations

Bland Farms, Glennville, Ga., has promoted Luke McBee to director of operations.

Bland Farms, Glennville, Ga., has promoted Luke McBee to director of operations.

McBee, who joined the Vidalia onion grower-marketer five years ago, has a bachelor’s degree in business administration in accounting and a minor in finance from Georgia Southern Univer-sity, according to a news release.

Bland Farms hired Allison Keen as operations and sales analyst. She has a bachelor’s degree in business administration in marketing from the University of Georgia, according to the release.

The personnel moves follow Troy Bland’s promotion to chief executive officer. Bland previously was chief operating officer. Former CEO Bryce Edmondson remains involved as a senior advi-sor, according to the release.

Delbert Bland remains owner and president of Bland Farms.
