Crawford Packaging, Essex, Ontario, has promoted Doug Crowe to regional sales manager for Southwestern Ontario.

He services market sectors that include produce, distribution, food processing and industrial, according to a news release.

Crowe joined Crawford more than 30 years ago. He now manages a team of sales representatives to service the Southwestern Ontario customers. It’s a new sales model the company is adopting, according to the release.

“This new regional model will allow Crawford Packaging to bring more expertise and a higher level of service to customers in the region,” John Ashby, president of Crawford Packaging, said in the release, “especially for customers who will be served by our upcoming location in Essex, Ontario.”

Ashby said Crowe has extensive knowledge of all market segments, and several decades of experience working with customers in that region.

Crowe joined the company in 1990 as a sales representative in the Leamington-Windsor area, and was promoted to sales manager in 1998, moving to Crawford’s London, Ontario, headquarters. He moved back to the Leamington-Windsor area seven years later to service the produce sector, according to the release.
