Crystal Valley Foods, Miami, has hired Anthony Leombruno as retail sales associate.

Leombruno comes to Crystal Valley from San Diego-based Altar Produce, where he was East Coast sales manager. Before that, he was a salesman for Ayco Farms, Deerfield Beach, Fla.

He has more than 18 years of experience in the industry, according to a Crystal Valley news release. Leombruno will help expand and develop the company’s growing national retail sales.

“With his extensive knowledge about asparagus and produce sales, he will be an integral part of our team and play an important role in expanding our customer base,” Jay Rodriguez, president of Crystal Valley, said in the release.

He will be based at the company’s Miami headquarters.

Crystal Valley is an importer of produce from Central and South America, and also has facilities in Los Angeles.
