Driscoll’s Appoints its First Global Chief Marketing Officer

Effective Sept. 15, Jiunn Shih will be the berry company’s first global CMO and be based in Hong Kong.

Driscoll’s announced Sept. 9 the appointment of Jiunn Shih as its first global chief marketing officer, effective Sept. 15. The company called the addition part of its commitment to strengthening its global brand.

In this newly created role, Shih will lead global marketing efforts and expanding Driscoll’s investment in brand programs across its markets. He will work closely with regional business unit leaders to align marketing strategies and scale global programs. He will be based in Hong Kong, relocating from Singapore.

Born and raised across multiple continents, Shih brings a unique multicultural perspective, complemented by extensive experience across Europe, Asia and the Americas. He has more than 20 years of senior leadership experience in FMCG and agribusiness, with roles at Zespri, Unilever, Syngenta and L’Oréal. Most recently, as chief marketing, innovation and sustainability officer at Zespri, Shih spearheaded the company’s brand and growth strategy, launched a pioneering sustainability innovation fund and drove new product innovations across global markets.
