Felipe Juillerat, who has a long career in the blueberry industry, has joined Las Vegas-based Terra Exports’ advisory board.

His most recent role in the blueberry industry was at Hortifrut as chief commercial officer, focusing on production for berries from Argentina, Chile, Mexico and Peru. He was at Hortifrut for 6 years, and before that was at Vital Berry for more than 20 years, with positions that included oversight of production in Asia, Europe and North America.

He has been president of the Blueberry Committee for ASOEX, the Chilean exporter association, according to a news release.
Juillerat has experience in partnerships, acquisitions and corporate branding in multiple global regions, which is vital to support Terra Exports’ goal of becoming one of the largest produce companies worldwide, according to the release.

“His guidance will be key to catapulting us into the next phase of our company, which is building a roadmap to becoming one of the top fresh produce companies in the world,” Nils Goldschmidt, Terra Exports CEO, said in the release. “Felipe’s experience and success with Hortifrut are unmatched in the industry, and having him on board will give us the edge we’ve been eager for since the start of Terra Exports.”
