FiveStar Gourmet hires Kristyn Lawson as SVP of sales

FiveStar Gourmet Foods, Ontario, has hired Kristyn Lawson as senior vice president of sales.

FiveStar Gourmet Foods, Ontario, has hired Kristyn Lawson as senior vice president of sales.

Before joining FiveStar, which markets the Simply Fresh brand of salads and fresh-cut products, Lawson was vice president of sales at Good Foods, where she launched the company’s brand at North American retail stores, according to a news release.

“She is a results-driven sales professional who focuses on delivering extraordinary revenue and profit growth within best-in-class companies,” Tal Shoshan, CEO and founder of FiveStar, said in the release.

Lawson’s experience includes vice president of sales at Yucatan Foods, launching the Cabo Fresh guacamole brand and developing in-store programs. She began her career in the late 1990s at Marie’s Salad Dressings and Dips, where she was regional sales manager, according to the release.
