Fleet Advantage technology chief receives IT recognition

James Griffin, chief operating officer and chief technology officer at Fleet Advantage, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., has been recognized by a Florida business publication.

The South Florida Business Journal named Griffin its 2019 CIO Lifetime Achievement Award.

The publication recognizes chief information/technology officers through the annual awards, according to a news release.

Griffin has almost 25 years of experience as head of the Fleet Advantage information technology team and development and planning for technological and informational organizations, according to the release. He has helped design and launch analytics software, as well as modifications to a new user interface, while at Fleet Advantage.

“Jim has played an instrumental role in the development and expansion of our technology offerings and services to our clients,” Brian Holland, president and chief financial officer at Fleet Advantage, said in the release.

Fleet Advantage offers truck fleet business analytics, equipment financing and lifecycle cost management services.
