Fresh Farms adds Jean Honorat as senior sales manager

Rio Rico, Ariz., -based Fresh Farms recently added Jean P. Honorat as senior sales manager for its melon division, according to a news release.

Rio Rico, Ariz., -based Fresh Farms recently added Jean P. Honorat as senior sales manager for its melon division, according to a news release.

Despite the supply chain woes and pesty inflation, demand for melons remains good, especially for watermelons., according to the release.

“With 24 years of experience in the production, source, sales and sales coordination for watermelon, cantaloupe and honeydew, Pat [Honorat] will bring us this experience and help us grow the category,” David Watson, senior vice president of sales and marketing said in the release. “We will build on what we have thus far and add where it makes sense. Mexico has an opportunity in fresh production and logistics as some advantages for North America can be realized over the near and midterm,” Watson continued.
