Good Foods hires Malin Benicek in food safety, quality role

Plant-based dips company Good Foods, Pleasant Prairie, Wis., has hired Malin Benicek as vice president of technical services.

Plant-based dips company Good Foods, Pleasant Prairie, Wis., has hired Malin Benicek as vice president of technical services.

Benicek will also lead Good Foods’ food safety initiatives and quality management strategies, programs and standards, according to a news release.

He has more than 30 years of experience, as executive vice president of quality assurance, food safety and regulatory affairs for Schuman Cheese Inc., a plant manager at dairy foods manufacturer Schreiber Foods, and director of quality assurance and food safety at Wayne Farms LLC, a poultry company.

“His experience and passion for improving food safety and quality assurance standards makes him the perfect fit for this role,” Kurt Penn, found and CEO of Good Foods, said in the release.
