Plant-based dips company Good Foods has donated $65,000 to the No Kid Hungry campaign to help fight childhood hunger.

During October and November, the company raised money with the University of Wisconsin’s football team through the “Sack Hunger” promotion. At home football games, $1,000 went to No Kid Hungry every time a Badger tackled an opponent’s quarterback, according to a Good Foods’ news release.

During a back-to-school promotion, Good Foods gave 10 cents for each of its deli cups sold, accounting for 75% of the $65,000 donation, according to the release.

Good Foods presented a check at the team’s final home game on Nov. 23.

“This campaign was such a great opportunity to partner with our very own Wisconsin Badgers football team while being able to make a difference and give back to a cause near and dear to our hearts,” Danyel O’Connor, executive vice president of sales and marketing at Good Foods, said in the release. “Knowing that each sack put us one step closer to giving more dollars toward ending childhood hunger in America gave us even more of a reason to cheer on the Badger defense.”
