Ocean Mist Farms announced Nov. 21 the company has promoted Jeff Fulton to vice president sales and product management. Fulton brings more than 30 years of experience in sales, strategy and team leadership, offering extensive product and market expertise to his new role.

“Just six months into his tenure at Ocean Mist, Jeff has already demonstrated the tremendous value and passion he brings to our organization,” says president and CEO, Chris Drew, who calls Fulton’s track record in business development “instrumental.” “His deep industry knowledge and long-standing relationships, combined with a fresh perspective on our processes, products and the way we operate, make for a powerful and winning combination.”

Drew continues, saying: “What we’ve also come to appreciate is the depth of the relationships he’s built over decades in this industry, along with his thoughtful approach to partnership and business development … He brings a next-level caliber of expertise that truly complements and elevates the strong team we already have in place.”

After a three-decade career at Dole Vegetable Company, where early roles included sales coordinator in 1995 to vice president of fresh pack sales most recently, Fulton says making the decision to move on at this point in his career was made with great consideration.

“I’ve always respected Ocean Mist Farms from a competitor’s standpoint as a brand synonymous with quality, service and value,” Fulton says. “Considering making this change would not have even come up on my radar had it not been for the exceptional industry reputation this brand and company has long since exhibited, along with the consistently premium quality fresh vegetables they put out to the marketplace.”

In his new role, Fulton will lead strategic sales planning to drive revenue growth, strengthen profitability and expand market reach. He will oversee budgeting and performance analysis, guide product positioning and pricing strategies, and support the successful launch of new products. Other responsibilities include building and retaining a high-performing sales team, fostering strong customer relationships and partnering with marketing to enhance the company’s presence across all channels.

“The Ocean Mist team welcomed me from day one and demonstrated a strong commitment to continuous learning, growth and exceptional customer service,” Fulton says. “Their support made my acclimation seamless, and I know there are great things on the horizon for this dynamic group, and company, and I’m thrilled to be a part of it.”
