North Shore Living hires Milas Russell as GM

North Shore Living, Thermal, Calif., has hired Milas Russell as general manager.

North Shore Living, Thermal, Calif., has hired Milas Russell as general manager.

Most recently, Russell was president of Savor Fresh Farms, where he helped the company expand into organics. Before that, he was director of marketing for Sandstone Melon Co., Yuma, Ariz., for 16 years.

General manager is a new role at North Shore Living, a hydroponic greenhouse grower of living herbs and microgreens.

The news release which highlights Russell’s background, which includes experience in sales, marketing, food safety and accounting.

“Milas has a thriving talent with unique perspective, valuable experience, produce industry knowledge and more,” Leo Overgaag, North Shore Living CEO, said in the release.
