Red Sun Farms donates over $10k to Make-A-Wish

The company says the most recent donation breaks its previous records, setting the bar high for 2026.

Red Sun Farms, a large vertically-integrated greenhouse grower, donated a record-breaking $10,240 to Make-A-Wish Canada – Southwestern Ontario Chapter, it announced April 30. The donations came from a program the company offers its employees.

Red Sun Farms employees can purchase fresh produce boxes for a small donation, the company said. The boxes are filled with vegetables freshly harvested from its greenhouses and 100% of the proceeds are donated directly to Make-A-Wish Canada – Southwestern Ontario Chapter, helping to grant life-changing wishes for children facing critical illnesses.

The company praised the generation of its team and called the record-breaking donation a powerful reflection of their dedication and compassion.

“Our team continues to amaze me with their generosity and commitment,” Jim DiMenna, president of Red Sun Farms, said in a news release. “Supporting Make-A-Wish Canada is deeply meaningful to all of us, and it’s inspiring to see how passionately our team rallies behind such an important cause.”
