Rodolfo Spielmann is the new president and CEO of NatureSweet Tomatoes, San Antonio.
He has more than 23 years of experience in leading growth and development of organizations and brands in consumer packaged goods company, including Proctor & Gamble, Heinz, Del Monte and Mars, according to a news release. Most recently, he was president of the Pet Consumer business for Central Garden & Pet.
He has led organizations and categories across diverse geographies, from North America to Europe, according to the release.
“Rodolfo brings strong passion and depth of experience to his new role as the leader of NatureSweet, as both people and business builder,” Bryant Ambelang, NatureSweet executive chairman, said in the release.
Spielmann attended the Produce Marketing Association’s Fresh Summit, Oct. 17-19 in Anaheim, Calif., where he met customers and “learned about multiple ways to partner, driving category growth, and saw how strong our presence within the produce industry is,” he said in the release.
