West Pak’s Avo Effect details safety procedures

West Pak Avocado, Murrieta, Calif., has released the fifth episode of its Avo Effect campaign, Avocados — A Ripe Responsibility.

The new video covers the ethical responsibility of avocados, beyond healthy food trends and pop culture, according to a news release.

The video features steps the company has taken during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“A Ripe Responsibility” highlights the ways West Pak is taking “ethical and moral responsibilities to ensure the avocado reaches people’s plates every day,” according to the release.

“In our continued effort to provide a steady flow of fresh, quality avocados to tables across the globe, we at West Pak Avocado have made some changes to ensure that we are building a safe and efficient future,” CEO Mario Pacheco said in the release. “We’ve taken extraordinary measures to not only enhance our workflow and strengthen our infrastructure, but also to dramatically improve safety measures.”
