Wholesome Wave has selected Joe Cahalan as interim executive director.

Cahalan, who has been a member of Wholesome Wave’s governing board for the past year, has been a consultant for Newman’s Own Foundation and was CEO at Concern Worldwide, which develops solutions to meet the needs of people living in extreme poverty, according to a news release from Wholesome Wave.

Cahalan had been with Xerox Corp. for more than four decades, and was vice president of communications and social responsibility and president of the Xerox Foundation.
Wholesome Wave helps “underserved Americans by giving them the purchasing power to choose healthy produce at grocery stores or farmers markets,” according to the group’s website.
