Blazer Wilkinson Gee now offers year-round blueberries

The company said its South American imports will begin for East Coast customers.

Blazer Wilkinson Gee, a Salinas, Calif.-based grower-packer-shipper of berries, says its Foxy brand South American-grown blueberries will begin arriving on the East Coast at the end of September.

BWG said with the addition of South American imports, it will now be able to supply year-round blueberries, and retailers can expect the same level of service and quality from its strawberries.

“BWG is known for quality and flavor in our strawberries and that is our intention for blueberries as well,” said Jack Wilkinson, head of sales with Blazer Wilkinson Gee, said in a news release. “Our retail partners can benefit from our berry expertise and trust that our growing supply of year-round, high-quality blueberries will help to satisfy consumer demand.”
