Two events — the Global Cherry Summit and the Agricultural Water Summit — have been postponed until April in Chile because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The inaugural Agricultural Water Summit will be on April 20; the third Global Cherry Summit will be April 22. They are scheduled at the Hotel Monticello Conference Center in San Francisco de Mostazal.

The cherry summit will feature an analysis of the 2020-21 season, and discussions about international trade, marketing strategies, business opportunities and logistics, according to a news release.

The water summit will cover agricultural water use, with a focus on Chile. Topics include new technologies, irrigation system optimization and efficient use of water, according to the release.
