The Idaho Potato Commission is seeking out spud lovers for a new consumer contest.

The online contest will choose someone to join the Tater Team, which travels with the commission’s Big Idaho Potato Truck, making appearances at events across the country throughout the year.

The winner will join the Tater Team at one of four events of their choice:

  • Las Vegas — Lion’s Club Parade, June 29-July 1;
  • Seattle — SeaFair Torchlight Parade, July 26-28;
  • Canton, Ohio — Pro Football Hall of Fame Parade, Aug. 3-5; and
  • Briston, Tenn. — NASCAR Xfinity Series, Aug. 16-19.

The winner receives round-trip airfare for two to one of the locations, two nights at a hotel, and a VIP tour of the Big Idaho Potato Truck, a Tater Team uniform and Idaho potato swag. The contest runs from May 15 to June 15.
