EarthFresh Foods says its Butter Potatoes, which feature a naturally buttery, creamy interior, are now available from coast to coast. The company’s full lineup includes Butter Golds, Butter Reds and Butter Russets.

EarthFresh says its Butter Potatoes have undergone a major relaunch featuring a new look and updated sustainable packaging. The company says it has also expanded its distribution to nationwide across the U.S. and in Canada. Butter Golds, Butter Reds and Butter Russets are available in 5-pound bags and Butter Golds are available in 10-pound bags.

The company has also teamed up with chef Yann Nury to lead recipe development to highlight the culinary potential of its Butter Potato lineup.

“Butter Potatoes are a chef’s dream: incredibly adaptable, delicious and consistently perfect,” Nury says. “They elevate any dish, from simple home-cooked favorites to restaurant-worthy creations. They perform beautifully in every setting, making them the ultimate kitchen staple. Without a doubt, they’re my potato of choice.”

EarthFresh says it has also conducted a survey with IMI International to gauge consumers’ interest and purchase intent ahead of the nationwide launch. The findings showed 85% of American consumers indicated positive intention to buy Butter Potatoes.

“At EarthFresh, we’re committed to bringing freshness and innovation to the produce aisle, and Butter Potatoes perfectly embody that vision,” says Jessica Anderson (Hughes), vice president of marketing and innovation at EarthFresh. “After more than a decade of research and development, our Butter Potato varieties are unlike anything else on the market, truly setting them apart from the everyday spud. Launching nationwide marks a major milestone as we continue to raise the bar and meet the growing demand for premium produce, whether for home cooks or professional chefs.”
