Delano, Calif. table grape grower and marketer Four Star Fruit says it anticipates another strong Holiday grape season.

The seedless Holiday variety is recognized for its sweetness and distinctive late-season profile and is easily identified by consumers, according to a news release. The summer heat wave will create challenges for some varieties, but Holiday is in the early stages of maturity, and the company says it is not seeing any roadblocks.

“We are looking forward to another great Holiday season with strong promotable volumes,” Four Star Fruit President Jack Campbell said. “Our team is fully equipped and ready to collaborate with retail partners to deliver an exceptional eating experience, driving robust consumer demand this fall.”

Four Star Fruit has been in table grape production as a grower-shipper since 1987. The third generation of the Campbell family operates the family-owned company.

Four Star Fruit produces conventional and organic grapes, including the trademarked Pristine variety. Its fields are located throughout California’s San Joaquin and Coachella Valleys and internationally in Peru, Chile and Mexico.

Earlier this year, Four Star Fruit says it solidified its position as a front-runner in the table grape industry with the acquisition of Agriculture Capital of Columbine Vineyards’ complete Holiday grape program. Under the terms of the deal, Four Star Fruit has exclusive rights to all brands, trademarks and DNA associated with the Holiday variety, the company says.
