Pre-Super Bowl event promotes Fresh from Florida products

Nikki Fried, commissioner of the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, is promoting Florida products in a pre-Super Bowl event.

The Fresh From Florida cooking demonstration, 6:45-7:30 p.m. Feb 1 at the Culinary Stage at Bayfront Park, Miami, also features former Florida Gators and Miami Dolphins linebacker Channing Crowder and Justin Timineri, described as an international culinary ambassador representing Florida, on the state’s agricultural department website.

Bayfront Park has hosted music acts, culinary demonstrations and other events leading up to the Super Bowl, Feb. 2 at Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium.

Fresh From Florida promotes fruits, vegetables and other agricultural products.
