The Folsom, Calif.-based U.S. Highbush Blueberry Council is planning its Blueberry Summit for Oct. 5-7 in Nashville, Tenn.

“This event will bring together industry influencers and thought leaders to explore inspiring blueberry possibilities that will boost industry members’ bottom line,” the council says.

Highlights include:
• Informative keynotes on topics critical to the future of the blueberry industry;
• Some of the industry’s veteran thought leaders feted for their work at the North American Blueberry Council awards;
• USHBC and NABC committee meetings;
• Foodservice Innovations Tour around Nashville to see how blueberries are being showcased on menus; and
• An opportunity to visit the Grand Ole Opry with blueberry industry acquaintances.
