Alpine Fresh, Miami, is offering purple Brussels sprouts.

The new product for Alpine Fresh complements its green Brussels sprouts program, according to a news release. The purple Brussels sprouts have a slight change in flavor profile compared to the traditional green Brussels sprouts.

“Purple Brussels sprouts can be a little sweeter than traditional green Brussels,” Jorge Bastidas, procurement manager, said in the release. “They make for a perfect holiday side.”

Alpine Fresh will offer the purple Brussels sprouts, which are grown in the U.S., through the winter.
