Pure Flavor, Leamington, Ontario, has launched Live Deliciously Magazine, which features full-page photos of recipes with diverse flavors.

The first issue, “Holiday Flavors Guide,” features 18 dishes from social influencers from throughout North America.

“Without any in-person sampling opportunities like trade shows or community events over the last nine months, we encouraged our various brand partners to create even more content that could be shared digitally in key regions where we have strong retail relationships”, Chris Veillon, chief marketing officer, said in a news release.

Ideas and recipes range from a charcuturie board to vegan dishes, snacks and appetizers, all featuring Pure Flavor’s greenhouse vegetables.

The company has seen significant spikes in website traffic and double-digit growth this year on social channels, according to the release. The brand’s digital content strategy is create what Pure Flavor calls an “I-C-E based” (Inform, Connect, Educate) approach to consumer engagement:

  • Inform: Raise awareness of products;
  • Connect: Explain how products fit lifestyles, deliver content that creates a connection;
  • Educate: Describe product characteristics, features and benefits, and how to use in the kitchen, including flavor pairings.

“The new Live Deliciously Magazine is just one part of our strategy to create great content that we can share across all our channels to encourage people to eat more fresh fruit and vegetables,” Veillon said in the release.
