Wholly Smashed and Diced Avocados ready for snacking

The makers of the Wholly Guacamole brand has a new Wholly Avocado Diced Avocado and single-serve Smashed Avocado products.

The makers of the Wholly Guacamole brand has a new Wholly Avocado Diced Avocado and single-serve Smashed Avocado products.

The products can help consumers cut down on waste, according to a news release, with the ready-to-eat product not being too ripe to eat.

“We’re proud to debut our new Diced and Smashed Avocado products to provide avocado lovers with a new way to enjoy them, while also preventing food waste,” Nahall Kohan, innovation associate brand manager of MegaMex Foods, parent company of the Wholly Guacamole brand. “These versatile products are always ready when you are so that you can add avocado goodness to just about anything — from salads to sandwiches to protein bowls.”

The diced avocado product is available in eight-ounce trays, and the smashed avocados are available in single-serve packages. The products are now at retailers nationwide, including Walmart stores, according to the release. They have suggested retail prices of $4.48-$4.99, according to the release.
