Crunch Time Apple Growers, marketer of SnapDragon and RubyFrost apples, received three awards for marketing the apples.

The Silver Davey Awards, announced by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts, recognize creative works from small firms around the world.

One Crunch Time award was for integrated promotional and branding for SnapDragons, and two were for online advertising and marketing: RubyFrost’s Baker’s Little Helper Consumer Contest and the Pack a Snap —Win a Schwinn! Sweepstakes, according to a news release.

“Apples are a crowded category and we’re up against some big corporations,” Rena Montedoro, vice president of sales and marketing for Crunch Time, said in the release. “But our audience has gone crazy for our promotions and fallen in love with our apples!”

Crunch Time is a group of 147 apple growers in New York state.
