The California Walnut Board’s Golden Walnut Sweepstakes is returning.

Starting Nov. 11, consumers can enter to win prizes, with a grand prize of $5,000. A total of $15,000 in prizes will be awarded through the promotion, which continues to Dec. 20. No purchase is necessary to enter, according to a news release.

Consumers can enter once every 24 hours by uploading a picture online. It can be of a receipt of a walnut purchase (walnut milk and other products included), a personal photo of walnuts or a recipe that includes walnuts.

In addition to the grand prize, one hundred participants will receive $100.

In last year’s seven-week Golden Walnut promotion, nearly 29,000 entries were received, with a 60% lift in unit sales volume growth compared to the month prior to the campaign, according to the release. On top of that, the California Walnut Board said the campaign received more than 16 million impressions.

Contestants enter online at walnuts.org/goldenwalnut.
