Chiquita Brands LLC, Fort Lauderdale, Fla., is inviting United Fresh LIVE! attendees to visit its virtual expo booth to tour banana production areas and learn more about its category insights, sustainability efforts and customer solutions.

The company’s virtual booth reflects its new consumer website, according to a news release.

Guests at the Chiquita virtual booth can choose from a number of links, including Category Management, Product Catalog, Quality Standards and Sticker Collection. Chiquita representatives will be available to answer questions via a chatroom.

“This is a great opportunity for the brand to showcase its innovative practices, from our farms, to our ripening facilities and all the way to grocery store shelves,” Jamie Postell, director of sales-North America, said in the release.

The booth “mirrors the scenery of the tropics in which Chiquita’s farms call home,” according to the release.

“When creating our booth for this virtual event, we wanted to not only highlight the brand’s values, but also offer the opportunity for visitors to experience the captivating scenery of Chiquita’s farming communities,” Tina Varjabedian, marketing manager for North America, said in the release.
