Salinas, Calif.-based Mann Packing Co. will debut a Caulilini baby cauliflower 10-ounce retail pack at the United Fresh Produce Association’s expo June 10-12.

Also, Mann’s Nourish Bowls breakfast line, the Denver Scramble and Fiesta Scramble, was nominated for United Fresh Innovation Award for Best New Vegetable Product, according to a news release.

“Caulilini baby cauliflower was an immediate hit with our foodservice customers when we introduced it last year, due to its unique look, flavor and versatility,” Rick Russo, Mann’s vice president, said in the release.

The baby cauliflower is an Asian-style variety that features long edible stems and blonde, open florets. The sweet, tender stalk turns bright green when cooked. For retail customers, it will be available in a 6- or 10-ounce pack.

Mann introduced the Nourish Bowls Breakfast line in January, featuring superfood vegetable medleys that just need an egg or two added.
