The National Mango Board will present next week a webinar entitled “Breaking Point or Pivot Point? How a Microscopic Menace Ignited Monumental Marketing Changes.”

The session is expected to cover how the COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted the grocery retail landscape and how marketers have had to change directions to meet new demands and keep brands relevant. Fewer trips to stores, more online grocery shopping, more interest in packaged produce and heightened concern around food safety are just a few of the changes.

“This year has been far from normal, and marketing strategies have had to shift to reflect an unforeseen disruption to our normal lives,” the National Mango Board wrote in its promotion for the webinar.

The presentation will be delivered in English, with Spanish and Portuguese interpretation available.

The webinar is scheduled for 3 p.m. EST Aug. 18. Registration for the event is available at bit.ly/MangoMarketing
