Naturipe Berry Farms is taking to social media to honor veterans through a fundraiser for the Gary Sinise Foundation.

Through July 7, consumers who share a photo of them with a package of Naturipe berries with the hashtags #growinggratitude and #naturipe will generate a $1 donation from Naturipe the foundation, up to $20,000 through the campaign.

“At Naturipe, we wanted to invite our customers to join us in honoring our country’s veterans and first responders this summer,” CarrieAnn Arias, Naturipe Farms’ vice president of marketing, marketing, said in a news release. “The Gary Sinise Foundation has done such amazing work to serve defenders, veterans, first responders and their families that we felt they were the perfect organization to partner with.”

The fundraiser is part of Naturipe’s Growing Gratitude campaign, which started earlier this year.

Naturipe, which started in 1917, has been honoring its growers who have served in the military.

In select markets, the company will offer limited edition patriotic packaging, according to the release. The labels will include a retro Naturipe logo in red, white and blue, with the Gary Sinise Foundation emblem.

For more information on the partnership with the foundation, visit Naturipe’s Growing Gratitude web page.

The Gary Sinise Foundation has a number of programs designed for members of the military, veterans, first responders and their families.
