Prices for zucchini around the nation ranged from 88 cents to $1.99 per pound on July 21, according to U.S. Marketing Services. Each week the firm looks at prices for a particular commodity at four retailers in eight major cities across the U.S.

On July 21, prices averaged $1.35 per pound, with the vegetable on ad at 13 of the 30 stores surveyed, according to the firm.
