Village Farms tees up for Fresh Summit

Village Farms is inviting Produce Marketing Association Fresh Summit attendees to tee up at its booth.

Village Farms is inviting Produce Marketing Association Fresh Summit attendees to tee up at its booth.

The greenhouse grower will have a golf putting green at its booth, and will be serving treats from the Village Farms chef, including Heavenly Villagio Marzano roasted tomato hummus, pomodoro al forno, and spicy Asian cucumber noodle salad. President and CEO Michael DeGiglio will be at the booth, along with U.S. and Canada sales team members, according to a news release.

The company plans on showcasing numerous products during the expo Oct. 18-19 in Anaheim, Calif., including the following tomatoes:

  • Heavenly Villagio Marzano
  • Sinfully Sweet Campari
  • Lorabella Blossom
  • Cabernet Estate Reserve
  • Maverick Mix
  • Lip Smackn’ Grapes

“PMA is the premier event for our industry that provides exceptional networking opportunities for us with our customers,” Helen Aquino, director of brand marketing and communications, said in the release. “We have a number of great things planned this year that we can’t wait to share with everyone.”

Village Farms, which is sponsoring phone charging stations throughout Fresh Summit, will be at booth No. 3991.
