Here are certification body comments from the survey, identified by the individual’s role in the supply chain. To the question: “What role should buyers play in determining what social responsibility programs a supplier might choose?

They should set a high bar for suppliers to reach. This will help the whole industry and pull everyone up higher.


Supporting role — suppliers should be able to partner with buyers on what makes the most sense for the business and people.
