What role, if any, should buyers have in determining what social responsibility program a supplier should use?

Here are wholesaler comments from the survey, identified by the individual’s role in the supply chain. To the question: “What role should buyers play in determining what social responsibility programs a supplier might choose?”

They should be the agent of change. Further up the supply chain will not progress unless there is a monetary inventive in terms of buyer reward.
