Continental Fresh LLC says it will spotlight its Water For All branded Mexican mango program at the Southeast Produce Council’s Southern Exposure, reinforcing its commitment to making a meaningful impact beyond just business.
The grower-shipper-importer of fresh fruits and vegetables from Latin America said it prides itself on connecting reliable growers with retail, foodservice and wholesale customers across the U.S. Through their Water For All initiative, the company blends social responsibility with premium-quality produce, offering a unique opportunity for buyers to make a difference with every purchase, according to a news release.
“Southern Exposure is always a standout event for us, and being in Florida makes it even more special,” said Robert Cabili, vice president of sales and business development for Continental Fresh. “We look forward to engaging with industry partners and sharing how our Water For All program is driving real change for communities in need.”
A key highlight of the show will be Continental Fresh’s “PLU with Purpose” campaign, emphasizing how each Water For All-branded box of mangoes directly supports clean water initiatives. A portion of the proceeds from these specialty-labeled mangoes goes to BLUE Missions, a nonprofit dedicated to providing clean water and sanitation solutions to families in Latin America, the company said.
“Consumers today are actively seeking brands that stand for something bigger than just profit,” Cabili said. “When companies embrace both profit and purpose, they build stronger connections with their customers and create lasting, positive change.”
Continental Fresh said that reports show consumers are increasingly drawn to brands that align with their values and that consumers are more likely to recommend brands they feel emotionally connected to.
Attendees of Southern Exposure — set for March 6-8 in Orlando, Fla. — are invited to visit Continental Fresh at booth No. 402 to discover how they can join the Water For All mission.
