Tree fruit grower-packer-shipper Stemilt Growers recently donated time and gifts to foster children in Washington’s Wenatchee Valley during the holidays.

The company said it was the 11th year of donating to foster children, and it provided 110 gifts for children in Chelan and Douglas counties in the care of the Washington State Department of Children, Youth and Family Services.

Stemilt employees shopped for and wrapped the gifts the company donated, according to a news release.

“Each year is a blessing for Stemilt to provide gifts for foster children in need during Christmas time,” Stemilt President West Mathison said in the release. “It’s the effort of Stemilters coming together each year to wrap with care gifts to kids in need in the community that makes me thankful for our team and culture of stewardship.”
