RLS Logistics, Newfield, N.J., has opened a freight brokerage office in Nashville.

It’s the second brokerage office for RLS Logistics, which has one at its headquarters.

Russell Leo, CEO and president of the RLS Transportation Group, said opening the office was a strategic decision that supports the company’s national expansion plans.

“Our freight brokerage division continues to be one of our fastest growing business units,” he said in a news release. “Locating the office in Nashville was an easy decision once we evaluated the potential leadership and talent the area has to offer. We are confident that we can duplicate the success we have seen in our NJ office.”

Adam Williams will lead sales and operations at the Nashville office. He has extensive industry knowledge and experience, according to the release.

“I am excited to get this office off on the right foot,” Williams said in the release. “We have already filled key sales and operations roles, and we are eager to represent and expand the RLS brand.”
