Veg Fresh Farms says its Organic Purple Crush Tomato boasted a striking deep-purple color, exceptional flavor and a premium eating experience that captured consumers’ and retailers’ attention. It has now debuted what it calls the “next generation” of its Organic Purple Crush, a new variety that builds on what made the original special, with improvements that elevate the experience from first glance to final bite with more firmness, more flavor and better color.

Randy Cancellieri, general partner of Veg Fresh, says the company has been evaluating and trialing new varieties looking for a purple tomato that would exceed its expectations and deliver on “an item that sparks curiosity, inspires new culinary experiences and delivers exceptional eating quality.”

“Finding the next generation of this variety wasn’t easy, but we remained committed to making the investments necessary to bring the best possible purple tomato to market,” he says. “The result is a product that not only stands out but delivers the flavor, texture and quality consumers deserve.”
