Kevin Murphy has joined the board of directors at Fall Creek Farm & Nursery Inc., Lowell, Ore.

Murphy most recently was CEO of Driscoll’s; he retired in 2018 after 13 years serving in the berry company’s leadership.

Fall Creek Farm & Nursery is a global blueberry breeding and nursery company, according to a news release.

Murphy has also worked at Capurro Farms, Fresh Express and TransFRESH Corp. He currently advises Temasek, a Singapore-based sovereign wealth fund, on food and agricultural issues.

Murphy said he worked with Fall Creek Farm while at Driscoll’s, and said in the release it has a strong position in a growing industry.

“Having spent his entire career in produce, he brings tremendous experience in growing companies that will help us continually expand and improve our ability to help create a world with better blueberries for our customers and the entire industry,” Dave Brazelton, Fall Creek Farm co-founder and board chairman, said in the release.
